Who agrees that paying to help an animal or human from pain is completely stupid? I mean, your helping people, or stopping an animal from suffering, then all of a sudden: 'Hey, here's your bill!' Jeese.....

I don't have a problem with vet bills.
I have a problem with making them cost TEN TIMES AS MUCH AS IT SHOULD.

When I had my ferret, the bills were insane.
$20 just to clean his ears, $60 for a checkup, and most stuff cost MORE THAN THE CHECKUP.
And the medicine I had to give him, about $200 for all three.

Throwing away a freaking needle costs $2. WTF.

Around $800 to watch him for a night and some other stuff, but it didn't do anything because by then, he died. =(

I know. But it's just ridiculous how they help an animal, then want money so it won't suffer >.>;; What the heck?

Well, it makes sense in the real world.
The medicine does cost a ton to make.
It's kinda like poverty.

Although $20 for some freaking ear cleaning is absurd.
(Just a bunch of Q-Tips basically.)

"Disposing of an infected needle for $2"?
BS, they threw it in the trash can.

well i feel like rambling anyway

you see when a needle is used it becomes in fected and if somebody would get pricked by it they could get sick, so you have to put it in a sharps container, anyplace where the needles wont poke through, and then after that the vet/doctor (depending on sitiation) take it somewhere to be treated...or sometjing

Oh yah, I remember now.

Someone told me it was because if it went in dumpsters, drug addicts who look for needles to inject themselves with whatever drug they're addicted to usually get said needles from said dumpsters. If they send the needle to a certain place, it won't get randomly taken.

But still, it's stupid.
Wouldn't it be the drug addict's fault anyways?

A chance of some blood diesease.
