So I was making a poem about sea stars, and wanted to get some background information on them.

They seem all nice until they eat.

Star fis have two stomachs inside their mouths, and after finding their prey, they stick their first stomach INSIDE OUT outside of their mouth and engulf the prey while its alive. After a while, it brings the partly digested prey back in its mouth and moves it to the other stomach.

Also, its mouth is where its waste products leave.

Well, they have to live SOMEHOW with that one mouth hole. I find it less disturbing and more interesting, but it makes me think if I were to ever invite sea creatures to a dinner party, I should reconsider my invitation towards the star fish.

That's disgusting?

Well, I can see how some people would think so, but I've seen worse when it comes to fish.

Probably, if I could remember anything about it.

No, something more along the lines of the parasite that likes to burrow into red snappers' mouths and suck all the blood from it, causing it to atrophy and fall off and then the parasite conects itself to the snapper's nerves and effectively replaces its tongue.

The sea cucumber I told you laid extremely long lines of poop.

But this one fish backs up into the sea cucumber's rectum by moving back each time the sea cucumber takes a breath. It essentially lives in its butt.

Ah.

That's rather weird.
