Ok I put my money on cats because they're more adorable and fluffly compared to dogs and don't have to be potty-trained as much as a dog.

Dogs because their good for protection and are very lovable. And you can teach them tricks to keep you and said dog entertained.

I love them both. ^__^

But if I could only have one, it'd be a dog.

Cats have scratchy tongues while dogs are very smooth. A cat's tongue makes you twitch when they lick you on the arm or on your face (especially on your face). Dogs can nuzzle also when they don't wanna lick you and when you scratch a certain part of them they kick their leg, which is funny.

Dogs chase stuff you throw for them to fetch and bring it back to throw again. Cats just take what you throw and scamper away while you try to catch them to get it back.

Dogs go outside in your backyard where you don't have to clean up, while catboxes have to be cleaned every once in awhile.

Dogs work as your personal alarms barking while cats just run and hide.

Dogs save lives, help people, for example seeing eye dogs, dogs that hear for you and use different movements to tell you what's going on, rescue dogs in the mountains, bloodhounds to catch escaped prisoners. Let's see a cat do all that.

Don't come crying to me when your backyard is covered in dog poop.

Ansem, you're comparing a big hulking dog to a perfect small gift of love named the cat.

Then you go and use comparisons that will make the dog look better.

It's still cute to have a kitty lick you though. I don't really see how it can make you twitch...

Except sometimes (but not often), dogs will go in the house too.

Dogs work as your personal alarms barking while cats just run and hide.

My dog is TOO MUCH of an alarm. He barks when ANYBODY comes near the house or path near it. Plus cats have a cute meowing they do.

Dogs save lives, help people, for example seeing eye dogs, dogs that hear for you and use different movements to tell you what's going on, rescue dogs in the mountains, bloodhounds to catch escaped prisoners. Let's see a cat do all that.

Good point, but still, you have to train them a ton for them to do that.

I still like them both, but look at the red text.

@PK: Well it is a VS. thread. See the name of the thread?

@Ferret: Hard to explain the feeling of being licked by a cat XP Only time my one inside dog goes in the house is when we go somewhere and forget to let her out.

@Jet: Funnily enough, I have two dogs that LIVE in my backyard, and I don't see much poop out there. And as for the word filters: tough. You can deal.
